What can they do for your HVAC System?
The AirSciences International, Inc. Filtirite™ Passive Air Filters attract microscopic air pollutants, including a broad variety of spores, bacteria, hyphal fragments, insect fragments, and other particulate air pollutants into the Filtirite™ mineral structure. Over a period of weeks, interior air can be cleaned to near-perfect levels. Since these filters are passive they can adsorb the very smallest (and most dangerous) air pollutant particles, now recognized as having multiple adverse impacts on human health. AirSciences leases these filters on a monthly or quarterly basis, depending on the application, to dramatically improve indoor air quality.
The chart below shows that the AirSciences Filtirite™ Passive Air Filters cleansed the air of the Seminole County (FL) Agricultural Extension Offices from a total fungal spore count of 1399/m3 in January down to a total count of only 42/m3 (a 97% reduction) in April, 2009, and kept the spore count at that level through July, 2009:
The Comfort Index is improved, because humidity and pollutants are decreased. The thermostat can be set HIGHER, (saving electricity), because the skin feels cooler with less humidity. Workplace odors, including the hard to eliminate musty or moldy smells, are a thing of the past. Employee complaints (see Testimonials) are eliminated.
